Food Websites/Blogs

Eater - Covers restaurant and food industry news, in addition to food guides.  There's a National section, and it's broken down by City for local info.

Foodblog Blog - A huge listing of food blogs.  A good way to see what's out there, particularly from the non-professional community.

Gastronomica - A journal devoted to food, including scholarship, humor, fiction, poetry, and more.  An intellectual look at food and society.

New York Magazine - Food coverage, useful lists and guides, restaurant reviews, and Grub Street, the NY Mag food blog.

New York Times - The weekly restaurant review is probably the most influential restaurant critic's column in the county.  Lots of food coverage, and Diner's Journal, the Dining Section's blog, among other things, gives good insight into how the restaurant critic approached his review.

Serious Eats - Has sections devoted to New York, Hamburgers, Pizza and more.  Covers the best food you can find at restaurants, food trucks, markets, etc., and lots of posts on recipes and making food at home.
